2023 is just around the corner. As brands start planning for the new year, they need to be aware that influencer marketing continues to morph and shift with the times. Here鈥檚 a few factors to keep in mind when planning influencer campaigns in 2023.
Tik Tok will continue to grow in popularity with younger audiences. Already a powerhouse for influencers and brands alike, TikTok will continue to grow as the dominant social media platform for influencer marketing. This is especially true for Gen Z consumers.
Influencers will further specialize within their niches. Look for niches to grow more specific. For example, clothing influencers might choose to specialize on specific styles, or on sustainable brands. Or makeup influencers might choose to specialize in minimalist aesthetics. This means more opportunities to hit hyper specific audiences, but might require more research before choosing an influencer.
Longer term relationships will become more of the norm. Brands are moving toward deeper relationships with the influencers they work with, and making them full brand ambassadors. Many of these brands even give these influencers specific titles, so they can use accompanying hashtags in their campaigns.
